... went on an entertainment-book coupon redeeming night tonight with ami... ate @ some "M------" japanese restaurant in caulfield south, which wasn't fantastic, but for 25% off, also not bad :)
then using a two-for-one hoyts coupon, we saw the upside of anger - which I thought was a decent movie; ami just loved it though. she was laughing all the way through it... @ numerous times I was sitting next to the ONLY person laughing in the cinema... I thought it was pretty cute :P
one of the things i took away from the movie, is kevin costner's character, denny (yes, it's spelt like that, and yes, it's a weird name :S). he first appears as a stoner and a drunk, but goes on to display a fortitude and an inner strength to be there to support Joan Allen's character.
a lot of the time us guys like to joke about how girls should be (in the kitchen making us pie! :P), but a character like denny is inspirational for me, in showing an example of a man that i'd want to be in a relationship
