hey all, this is just a random thought inspired by choko's (desmond) blog...
singles are weirdly enough considered by most to be unfortunate people... that their lives are little empty, and that they're missing out - but that's so defeatist! singleness is also a very cool status, in the fact that u have more time to meet new people, and that every new encounter has that excitement of "hey... he/she could be the one", and so much more...
me and 'lil jo have always thought it'd be a cool idea to do a christian 'speed dating thing' (u'll know what it is if u've seen 'hitch'), cuz it just looks like fun... and then hearing about the bgr forums that ocf have had... and we always joke about how different churches should get together due to the disparity of either single guys or girls... heck... why not?!
not so much a match making exercise (but i'll take the credit for any people that DO get together) just a way for people to get together, have a bit of fun and meet new people :D
sounds like a fun idea, but will need people to help make it happen...

Hey man, i just need to learn how to stop chicks from calling me ghey. hopefully if i do get there, then i need to learn how to get chicks. everywhere i go, people think i'm ghey. sigh...looks like i won't be getting any soon :p

so far the idea has been well received... now to do some research... wonder what'll get if i google "speed dating"... maybe i should whack a 'christian' in the front of that... :)
eh? who said anything about finding 'the one'... this is all so we can see how many people we can freak out in 30sec intervals :D
then u can have mon gf, tue gf, wed gf....etc..
well thats if you can stop talking in 30sec. and manage to get her name n contacts. hmm a challenge
noooooo... no want to come out with so many burdens, I mean gf's :D
